The Little House on the River

I used to love going to The Little House on the River. We'd do strange things like yell and wave to the boaters as they passed the yard, or call the back yard the front yard just because it was on the water. It was a magical time and place in my childhood, made only more magical by the frogs, that at night would call to my sister, "Brrr-idget! Brrr-idget!" Or so Uncle Mark would have us believe.

Whenever the little house on the river would come up my dad would say, "The only room in that house worth a shit was the bathroom." I always thought that was really funny.
