It doesn't seem that long ago that I had an inteview with a young fellow and his wife that was soon to give birth to the first of their three children. Mark was in need of a secretary, and as Rita was Mark's secretary, was in need of a replacement before she welcomed the position of motherhood within the next few weeks.
I worked for, but mostly with Mark for 22 years. His years in Antioch, IL were spent creating the Midwest office of Garvey Corporation. Mark put many hours of effort into the success of that office, and as it still exists, along with many other satellite locations, more than exceeded his early plans.
Mark was such a caring and fun person to work with. He always had time to share a story or laugh with people. He was also a great mentor to all the new salesmen that started their careers with Garvey. Mark really loved helping others succeed in life. I have many wonderful memories of the years spent with Mark and the Garvey Corporation family.
God bless and welcome you into His arms Mark. My prayers are with you, Rita, Ben, Jake, Sarah, and the whole Garvey family.
